so why is bitcoing going down now all the sudden
Where is my upgrade path? It's basically non-existent. I'm gonna be living with this 3090 forever.
At least post a good output if you're gonna argue for goonerism.
Luckily, the drives I continue to buy to hold onto my archives are all mechanical and optical drives, so I haven't been hit there.
The racial slur of the day is Wheat Thin.
It is used to refer to Whites.
Deep lore: Represents skinny white women with a tan.
They always felt off to me and got shilled hard by "privacy" and "security" advocates, so that immediately makes them less trustworthy to me. Besides that, the whole reason for using them, email encryption, only works when you send emails from Proton to Proton.
Email transport can be unencrypted anyway between the various MTAs depending on the route, so pretending that email can be private is a half-truth at best.
I don't even understand the point of having an "extreme" VPN. Like my usecase for VPNs is open public WiFi, that's it. What even is the use case, when Tor works fine and you have to click on the boats all the time anyway now.
The #Vendefoul Wolf #Linux maintainers recently introduced their #Viriato series based on #Devuan 7 Freia. They ship both #XLibre and #Xorg as well as the #KDE and #SonicDE desktop environments. You can download the testing ISO at https://vendefoul-wolf-linux.sourceforge.io/ . Look for "Devuan 7".
Sorry, but this looks like a desperate move to show off Xlibre with these unknown, insignificant forks of forks
(eg viriato, vipnux, falconux/dragonux...)
never heard about these.
I'm all for X11 continuity and Xlibre success, but you should focus on posting about your progress, plan, feat., mythbusting...
Unfortunately, from outside, so far it just look like a rebranding and it's a bit cringe.
no offense.
@XLibreDev @omar Same here. E.g. look to the other mature software projects in the Fediverse, like curl or F-Droid — they posting about new fearures in the upcoming releases, bugfixes, etc.
Meanwhile, documentation for the experimental XNamespace feature … — ugh, I found something useful only in some commit in forked repo of feature's developer :-(
@evgandr Thank you for your feedback! We plan to release the updated documentation for the Xnamespace extension in our 25.1 stable.
Please also see https://mastodon.social/@XLibreDev/116019622743449981.
@omar Thank you for your feedback! From the inside, we're currently busy rolling out our 25.1 series to our testers and the public in general to gather feedback. The goal is to release 25.1 stable before turning to feature development again. Also, Vendefoul Wolf is one of the first distributions to package @sonicdesktop which is relevant for the future of KDE on X11. They try things that other, more conservative distros prefer to "wait and see", thereby paving the way. That's the point here.

While I can't vote myself, I would probably pick LinkedIN because it went from simply being Facebook for workaholics to basically a requirement for any skilled job, and it seems to be mostly used for doxxers to find out where people work.
Creepy shit. Going to scan it for my blog just incase and then throw it in the trash. It is a good thing I am home alone so I am handling the mail today.
[just a couple of phone shots... but worked out]

Few things annoy me more on the internet than when I'm just chilling, watching a good video or stream, when some ass hat or multiple ass hats decide to infect it with their gender/sexuality shit. I'd rather be goatse'd dude.
As LibreTorment has proven to be inefficient, insecure and hard to integrate, we're happy to announce systemd-tormentd coming in the next release of systemd, featuring a Lua API for configuration, integration with Polkit and, most importantly, complete incompatibility with anything but Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
But... whoever ported libnix2 + newlib to amiga needs to see a psychiatrist, because allocating a few bytes with a simple new or malloc() should not start an infinite loop that eats all available memory until it eventually paints over the screen with garbage.
How do you even let that happen?
In all of the time I have spent debugging my own porting work thinking I did something wrong, I could have used AllocMem, avoided all of this and rewritten the other handful of stdlib features I needed instead.
