Imagine how this could be used to justify an assassination against a democrat too. If violence against politicians is normalized then the only opinions that will matter are the ones that conveniently line up with the most violent and disruptive in the country.

Now if he was literally the second coming of hitler and had obvious murderous intent then there's nothing to complain about, but that's not what happened.
